We met near the end of September 2022 as friends. We became best of friends right away sharing a mutual love of dogs and sarcastic humor. Josh took me out for my birthday after only meeting a few times. I told him I was not interested in being anything other than friends. Josh quickly won me over by New Years, breaking the barriers of the friend zone. He asked me to be his girlfriend, and I told him I would think about it. We started dating January 2023. Many losses and wins later here we are, deciding to navigate the rest of our lives together.

We wed on Saturday, April 12, 2025! You know how every wedding has that “something goes wrong factor”, well the dress I was intending to wear was broken. So, the morning of, my mom and I spent four hours driving around town for a dress. We ended up at Brick & Mortar Bridal Outlet in downtown Bryan, Texas. What a lifesaver! I tried on dress after dress with my mom. The dress I am wearing was the last dress I tried on. It had been in the dressing room with us the whole time. We just kept overlooking it since it was strapless. To top it all off, it matched my shoes perfectly! If that isn’t a God provided moment, I don’t know what is. The weather turned out great! We had dinner at Christopher's World Grille as one big family =)
